Reunited Dinosaur Jr. still together, prepping ‘Farm’ for June

So, Dinosaur Jr. is one of those rare bands that can pull of a reunion and make it work without blatantly rubbing any of the cash-out motives in anyone’s faces. 2007’s Beyond was a perfectly respectable addition to the legendary band’s canon. A little on the retro side, perhaps, but Dinosaur Jr.’s fuzzed up noise pop was never going to morph into ground-breaking futurism. In fact, the reunited band’s live show is so good that it makes all the “don’t they hate each other” chatter seem entirely trivial. Thankfully, Beyond was not a one-off, either, as the band is preparing its follow-up, Farm, for a June release on Jagjaguwar. The trio recently played SXSW and Lou Barlow sneaked away from the hectic festivities to debut one of the new tunes on the rooftop of the Marriott, “Imagination Blind.”

Farm‘s Tracklist:

‘Pieces’
‘I Want You To Know’
‘Ocean In The Way’
‘Plans’
‘Your Weather’
‘Over It’
‘Friends’
‘Said The People’
‘There’s No Here’
‘See You’
‘I Don’t Wanna Go There’
‘Imagination Blind’
