Word on the wire is that the Elke EP is finally finished. Who are Elke, you ask? Good question. I came across Elke back in September of ’08 on MySpace and promptly fell in love with their glorious hook-laden retro-infused bedroom synth-pop sound, particularly the catchy-as-all-get-out track “Till I’m Gone.” Not since Cut Copy’s Hearts on Fire has an Aussie band made me want to dance and apparently hyphenate uncontrollably.
