My friend Bill passed this along after I told him about Wire on tour.
I don’t normally read comments on Youtube, but the ones on DotDash (which is about driving, not trains, actually) make reference to great songs about trains, including this Magnetic Fields classic and any excuse to post Born on a Train is a good excuse.
They also reference this classic Jam track… (back when Weller wasn’t too cool for school, apparently.)
Of course I couldn’t post about trains without including Jens Lekman’s Tram #7.
