This is completely awesome. Taking cues from Robert Palmer’s notoriously expressionless mannequins (and, perhaps, the “prize-winning” lamp from A Christmas Story), Chromeo does the late Palmer one up by foregoing expressions altogether, as a dozen pair of illuminated legs dance subtly in the background. While Chromeo unleashes its nerdy white boy synth funk, these torso-less women kick up some beats on the snare. The song ain’t half bad either. Now I want to see Chromeo live.
