Various media outlets (with varying degrees of legitimacy) have been reporting that Sheryl Crow wants to work with Amy Winehouse based on the following quotation:

“I know one song ‘Rehab’ was very popular particularly because a lot of young people are in rehab as well. In fact I’m thinking about going. It looks like loads of fun and I know my career will benefit from it.”

Now, I’m no professor of semantics, but, dare I say, Ms. Crow is speaking facetiously? I’ve read interviews with her before, and she’s never come across as an idiot. This utterance was allegedly made during a concert in London recently.
