Year-end list-making just got easier

The Catbird seat has done your homework and mocked your blog by compiling the projected nominees for the ever-predictable, year-end best-of lists. Everyone knows these lists are meaningless and arbitrary, but everyone seems to compile them anyway. So, if you’ve been lazy this year and want to make sure you’re catering to fleeting tastes of the fickle indie rock community so as to remain superficially relevant, here’s your template:

    the problem with catbirdseat’s list, despite its attempt to be helpful (read: condescendingly snotty), is that some of those records are just bloody fucking awful, or so obscure as if they’re an attempt at a parlay into a bigger blogging gig.

    that said, that dirty projectors record is abso-stunning-lutley gorgeous.
