As 3/4’s of art-punk aesthetes Bauhaus, Love and Rockets never quite capitalized on its potential, save the lone, unlikely top ten hit “So Alive” way back in 1989, after which the band disappeared for half a decade. And returning with the dance-oriented Hot Trip to Heaven only further alienated long-time fans. The band never quite regained its footing, despite some respectable efforts. This video is for the band’s finest single from its finest record, Earth, Sun, Moon, and there’s even a brief appearance from The Bubblemen tacked on at the end.
