This song is off one of my favorite 7″s of all time- the Lincoln/Hoover split on Art Monk Construction records from 1993. I can’t believe there’s a video of Lincoln on youtube. This song is fucking amazing- searing and from the gut. Technically, this is emo, but it’s the strain that was born out of hardcore and octave cords- not the sniveling, pop-punk nonsense that took off in the late-1990’s like Saves the Day and all that bratty crap. I highly recommend hunting this record down if you can find it. Actually, I’ve done your homework for you: There’s one on ebay right now.
