Amy Winehouse “Tears Don’t Dry on Their Own” video

June 26th, 2007

Winehouse’s newest video is directed by David LaChapelle. It’s currently my favorite song off Back to Black. I always expect the chorus to break out into “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”

Interpol “The Heinrich Maneuver” video

June 26th, 2007

Sonic Youth has never really worked well in conjunction with the corporate machine, so it’s not really surprising that there’s no new record to promote. […]

June 26th, 2007

[kml_flashembed movie=”http://youtube.com/v/mWmdt4Zn0-o” width=”425″ height=”350″ wmode=”transparent” /] Uhh, this is beyond bizarre. This is a live video of The Cure performing, perhaps, the most depressing of all of Robert Smith’s songs, “Siamese Twins”, from the equally chipper Pornography record, while the Royal Ballet dances on stage with them. Crazy.
