Led Zeppelin to play memorial concert, possibly tour

Posted June 25th, 2007 by eric

I’ll believe this when I see it, but, reportedly, the three surviving members of Led Zeppelin are in talks to perform at a memorial concert for Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun in London:

“And no-one can quite believe it, but during discussions about the concert they all gave the green light to a tour if it all does well and they don’t all fall out.”

As much as I’d like to see Led Zeppelin live, watching three old men struggle through a set would not be a pretty sight. Remember Live Aid? This is not a good idea.
