Duran Duran collaborate with Timberlake, Timbaland

Posted June 7th, 2007 by eric

Details of Duran Duran’s collaboration with Justin Timberlake have been revealed, which is presumably the reason why reunited guitarist Andy Talyor quit for a second time, causing the band to scrap a completed album and start from scratch. The band’s forthcoming new album is finished and also features multiple collaborations with ubiquitous producer Timbaland and his protegee Danjahandz. None of it sounds promising, especially since Andy Taylor likely quit over this stab for current market relevance.

The new record lacks both a title and a release date, but Duran Duran are on the bill for the UK leg of the Live Earth concerts on July 7 at Wembley Stadium.

the new tracks sound great, the ones that have “leaked” so far are “Nite Runner” “Skin Divers” and “Falling Down”, the release date for the titled “Red Carpet Massacure” is Nov. 13th. It SOUNDS VERY PROMISING. See ya later to Andy Taylor, he’ll be back in another decade or two to try to catch on to the gravy train…….
