The Hives record with Pharrell Williams

Fresh off collaborations with both The Raconteurs and Timbaland, Sweden’s The Hives have the bug again, partnering up this time with another unlikely producer. The band met Pharrell Williams in Japan a while back, wherein Williams suggested getting together for something “bass guitar-based.” They recorded together in Miami, and Howlin Pelle promises that “some of his music will end up on The Hives’ new record.” Does this mean we can expect some Miami booty bass? Coming from The Hives, that might actually be amazing.
