Back when Jane’s Addiction were pretty far underground and more than a little frightening. It’s pathetic how far these guys have fallen in the intervening decades. Not bassist Eric Avery, though. He’s the only one with an ounce of credibility, having refused to partake in any of the Jane’s Addiction reunion nonsense.

Can you remember when it was they came through Columbia, in the 80’s, I think…. I was too young to see them, but I think they played Rockafella’s, of all places. I’m having a hard time finding anyone who can remember it, but I don’t think I made this up.

that was before my time, too. i think there’s a site somewhere that lists all of rockafella’s old shows. i’ll ee if i can find it.
