Amy Winehouse "Back to Black" video

This video isn’t out yet in the US. It’s the title track off Winehouse’s second album, which just debuted at #7 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart, making her the highest debuting British female artist in the history of the chart, which is sort of hard to believe.

If the Bruccoli family doesn’t tap Amy Winehouse to sing the next James Bond theme, then they are beyond clueless. Her voice has the perfect mix of mystery and reto-fitted soul. But they’ll probably just ask A-ha again instead.

She will appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on April 24th, just prior to a brief US (and Canadian) tour:
